This sticker is a special edition that was created in honor of Consuelo Hernandez, Lupita’s grandmother who took her last breath February 2020. She may no longer be physically with us but she visits Lupita in so many beautiful ways. Lupita’s Abuelita Chelo was a lover of birds and plants; she was also always so grounding and often reminded Lupita to have patience and that things would work out with time. This sticker is Abuelita Chelo’s comforting words that constantly help ground Lupita as she makes decisions that prioritize both her health and the health of others.
Abuelita Chelo was also a huge supporter of all that is right and just for individuals coming to this country in search of safer lives and better opportunities. She not only taught Lupita the value of hard work and resilience, but she also continues to remind Lupita of the value of kindness and patience in many beautiful and special ways. The bird on the Therapy of the Sun logo symbolizes Abuelita Chelo’s special connection to Therapy of the Sun’s practice goals and motivation to do good for the community.
